Welcome to The Paddock Preview, a page that is dedicated to providing in-depth reviews of racecourses for racing fans around Britain, Ireland and elsewhere. As extremely passionate horse racing enthusiasts, we have attended over 40 racecourses between us from the big meetings at Royal Ascot and Cheltenham to family fun days at Thirsk and Brighton. We’ve also attended fantastic racecourses outside of the UK in both France and Ireland, including Galway, Naas and Paris Longchamp.
Because of this, we recognise that each track provides something fantastic and unique to the average racegoer and as a page we want to be able to showcase these to our viewers. Additionally, we realise that most racegoers for the first time will only attend the big meetings and the most well-known tracks…therefore missing out on excellent days trackside at more local and affordable racecourses.
Our reviewing process will provide racing fans, both old and new, a valuable insight into racecourses and meetings of all sizes to hopefully encourage more people to attend racing and bring new fans to this wonderful sport.
